About the Role
My client is looking for a Document Controller to join a small, dynamic team within a large office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential construction and be confident managing documentation while building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. This is an office-based role with flexibility to support work-life balance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage and maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Coordinate document flow between internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors
Ensure all project records are up to date and stored correctly
Support the team with administrative tasks and document control procedures
Assist in the implementation of document management systems and processes
Work closely with project managers and site teams to ensure smooth document control operations
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Requirements
Previous experience as a Document Controller within the residential sector
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Proficient in document control systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - a true team player
Ability to work efficiently as part of a small team in a large office environment
Based in or able to commute to West London
Experience in working with Tier 1 developers or main contractors is advantageous
