🤩2024 In Review – What a Year!🎇

As we approach the conclusion of 2024, Aldwych Consulting takes a moment to reflect on the extraordinary milestones and achievements of the past year.

This year, we've continued to grow as a dynamic recruitment business, expanding our reach across sectors, welcoming talented individuals to our team, and strengthening relationships with clients and candidates.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of this journey. Your contributions have made 2024 another landmark year for us. Here are the top 10 highlights of the year:

1.Team Growth: We’ve added four exceptional new team members this year: Georgie, Harry, Vekshana and Rob. Each has brought fresh perspectives and energy, helping us achieve our ambitious goals.

2.Celebrating Success: Our consultants’ hard work paid off with over 300 5 Google reviews from candidates thrilled with their new roles. Its a constant reminder of the positive impact were making in peoples careers.

3 New Office: We moved into a fantastic new office on Clements Lane in Monument. This central location has enhanced our accessibility and provided a vibrant workspace for our growing team.

4 Sustainability Commitment: Building on our partnership with The Future Forest Company, we have planted hundreds of native trees in the UK this year. Each candidate placed received a certificate and a what3words location of their tree, reflecting our dedication to ethical and sustainable business practices.

5.Charity Initiatives: Highlights include donating to Save the Children, Home Start, The Southeast Cancer Centre, The Movember Foundation, The NSPCC and The London Music Fund and for being a sponsor for Club Peloton. These efforts underline our commitment to making a difference in our community.

6. New PSL Partnerships: We were thrilled to secure spots on new Preferred Supplier Lists with global and SME construction companies. These partnerships have solidified our position as a trusted recruitment partner for both temporary and permanent staffing solutions.

7.Professional Development: We invested heavily in our team’s growth this year with new training programmes led by our Performance & Operations Director, Lucy Moore. These initiatives included advanced recruitment techniques and leadership workshops for emerging managers.

8.Company Conference: Our annual Christmas Conference took us to the picturesque city of Berlin. The team spent two inspiring days reviewing our achievements, strategising for 2025, and enjoying the festive charm of Berlin’s Christmas markets.

9.Innovation: This year, we embraced technology to stay ahead in the recruitment industry. From implementing AI-driven candidate matching systems to launching an updated advertising campaign, we’ve streamlined operations and improved service delivery. These advancements have enhanced client and candidate experiences, positioning us as a leader in modern recruitment solutions.

10.Had Fun!: We’ve ensured that team bonding and enjoyment remain a priority. From crazy golf outings and a pumpkin carving competition to weekly quizzes and team lunches, we’ve created plenty of opportunities to connect and unwind. The highlight was our summer BBQ, where the entire team came together to celebrate our achievements in the sun.

As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited about the opportunities to grow, innovate, and continue delivering exceptional service to our clients and candidates. Thank you for being part of our journey. Here’s to a successful and fulfilling year ahead!

2023 Round up – What a year it’s been!

As we approach the conclusion of 2023, Aldwych Consulting takes a moment to come together and reflect on the highlights of the past 12 months.

We've witnessed substantial growth both as a business entity and as a closely-knit team. Moving into our first office in February 2023, coupled with the acquisition of significant new contracts and clients spanning diverse sectors, we are now looking forward to the new year ahead!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients and colleagues for their invaluable contributions, which have played a pivotal role in making 2023 an unparalleled year for us.

Here are the top 10 highlights that encapsulate the essence of our achievements in 2023.

1.New Office: We started the new year in our new office in the shadow of the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral. Our central location has led to an increase in client and candidate meetings, and we have really enjoyed and benefitted from all the face to face interactions.

2.New Resourcer Hires: We grew our team with 4 new fantastic Resourcers, George, Isabella, Anna and Oscar. They have all very quickly shown themselves as real assets to the business!

3.New Director Hire: We welcomed Lucy Moore as our Performance & Operations Director. Lucy has been providing ground-breaking training to our staff in all things recruitment as well as providing leadership training to the managers. Lucy has also been working on strengthening and streamlining our processes.

4.5 Star Reviews: We reached over 250 wonderful 5⭐reviews from extremely grateful candidates. Finding someone their dream job never stops feeling so rewarding. We know how important it is to have a job that makes you happy, matches your skill set and supports your own personal and professional development. Having feedback from candidates saying that they’ve made an excellent decision, that they love their new workplace, means the world to us.

5.Promotions: We have had some brilliant promotions in the office this year when Will was promoted to Associate Director and Caroline was promoted to Executive Assistant. Will has hired two Resoucers this year and won the Manager of the Year Awards at our Christmas Conference. Caroline has been a huge help to our Directors and won the Best Support of the Year Award at the Christmas Conference.

6.New Temporary PSLs: We are delighted to have been selected to recruit freelance staff for 3 new top international companies in 2023 on their Preferred Supplier Lists allowing all our consultants to provide temporary as well as permanent staffing solutions. We look forward to delivering on these new roles next year.

7. Planting Trees: In 2023 we partnered with The Future Forest Company. This aligns with our values as an ethical and sustainable business as we plant a native tree in the UK for every candidate we place. Each tree planted comes with a certificate which is shared with the placed candidate with a what3words address so they can visit their planted sapling. 8.Charity Events: A few of the team attended Overbury's Charity Music Night at The Ministry of Sound with our clients. It was a brilliant night, raising money for British Red Cross, CYP and Happy Endings Rescue. We also took part in a networking run hosted by AECOM, raising money for their charity, CRASH. We had a wonderful evening networking and exercising on our 6.5k run taking in lots of London landmarks.

We also donated to Save The Children, The Salvation Army and The Trussell Trust over the Christmas period.

9.Christmas Conference: We had our Christmas Conference in Vienna! The team spent a wonderful 3 days in historic Vienna reviewing our business plans and planning for next year. We also had a lot of fun eating cake and touring the Christmas Markets.

10.Great Place to Work: We were certified as a Great Place to Work in 2023. Having a happy, positive working environment allows us to spend more time providing the best recruitment service to all our candidates and clients.
