Due to a growing pipeline of projects, the company is seeking a motivated Trainee Quantity Surveyor to support their team. They are committed to nurturing talent and providing comprehensive training to help you grow into the role.
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will get the opportunity to work on the full life cycle of projects across the country. You will also work on other aspects of the projects i.e. construction processes, delivery phases to gain an overall knowledge of the project. The company would also be keen to provide further support in terms of further studies where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Commercial Manager on a variety of fit-out projects.
Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting for ongoing projects.
Support the preparation of tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to gather cost data and ensure project efficiency.
Help to manage project budgets and contribute to financial decision-making.
Assist with post-contract activities such as valuations and final account preparation.
