This highly reputable construction consultancy is looking for Quantity Surveyors and Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their rapidly growing team in London. You will be leading your team on a range of multi-million-pound projects across various sectors including commercial, hotels, residential and more. Responsibilities:
Lead Cost Management commissions, taking responsibility for their successful delivery.
Provide support to other Surveyors on team in delivering services of team projects.
Provide effective support and mentoring to Graduate Surveyors.
Ensures projects and tasks are managed and completed efficiently, on time and to the client's satisfaction.
Develop strong reciprocal relationships with consultants and members of the project team.
Be an interface with clients and design team members on specific projects.
Manage the delivery of cost management team outputs on allocated projects, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.
Provide full Cost Management duties to clients on allocated projects.
Skills and experience required:
Ideally 5 years + experience as a quantity surveyor within the property market.
Degree qualified in a relevant construction or property discipline.
Ideally chartered with the RICS.
Previous experience delivering within the Residential, Commercial or Hotels/Leisure sectors. (Preferably gained in a construction consultancy environment).
Strong negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Numeracy skills.
Good report writing skills.
Strong presentation skills.
