Are you a Principal Transport Planner looking to take the next step in your career? Do you want to work for a specialist residential development team?
My client is looking to hire a Principal Transport Planner, who will be second in command, to join their development planning team in Central London. As a consultancy they are a multidisciplinary who focus on residential and commercial infrastructure developments across the UK.
You will be reporting directly to the Associate, managing the team and overseeing all technical work and projects. This is the perfect opportunity for a Principal Transport Planner who still enjoys getting involved with the technical work, as well as being able to speak with clients and get involved with business development when needed.

Key responsibilities:
Leading technical delivery of transportation projects, including managing project teams and budgets
Developing and maintaining client relationships
Contributing to business development, including preparing bids and proposals
Mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development
Key requirements:
Degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning
Chartered Membership of a relevant professional institution (e.g. CIHT, CILT)
Strong technical background in development planning
Project and Client delivery expertise
Track record of budget management
An appreciation of the relevant technical standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
