My client, a leading independent Construction Consultancy, is seeking an experienced CDM Consultant/Principal Designer to join their growing practice. The Opportunity
The successful candidate will work directly with the CDM Manager, providing comprehensive consultant services to a diverse client base. The role offers genuine career progression opportunities, including advancement to Associate level for ambitious candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Undertaking Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015 regulations
Conducting health and safety site inspections
Supporting design hazard elimination processes
Contributing to occupational health and safety practices
Assisting with marketing initiatives and bid submissions
Managing key client relationships Collaborating with the Partner in Charge
Required Qualifications & Experience
Construction or Design background with proven CDM 2015 experience
CMaPS / NEBOSH construction certificate (ideal)
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
Full clean driving license with access to own vehicle
Experience across various project scales, from demolition to large-scale construction
Strong understanding of design hazard elimination processes
Essential Skills
Excellent communication and management capabilities
Strong team working abilities
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
Ability to work independently
Flexible approach to site visits and travel
