Civil Engineering Technician needed by a fantastic company in Berkhamsted!

My client is a civil and structural engineering consultancy with around 40 members of staff, based across two locations. They work across several sectors focusing on industrial/ logistics, data centres, transportation/highways and TV/Film studios.

The Role

  • Working as part of a team on civil engineering schemes associated with large developments throughout the UK

  • Civil 3D design and ground modelling for private development site and highway schemes

  • Assisting with the preparation of design submissions for highway and drainage works (eg S278, S38, S104 etc)

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTrack and (ideally but not essential) MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience

  • Good communication and people skills

  • Ability to work well as part of a team

  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills and progress career
