Are you a proactive and detail-oriented planner with experience in generating project programmes and schedules? We are seeking a Planner to join our successful team, helping to deliver high-profile building projects through expert planning and scheduling. If you have a strong background in using Primavera P6 and are comfortable working in a client-facing role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Development: Develop comprehensive and accurate project programmes, ensuring timelines are realistic and aligned with project objectives.

  • Gantt Charts: Create and maintain Gantt charts to clearly illustrate project timelines, milestones, and progress.

  • Software Proficiency: Effectively use Primavera P6 to manage project scheduling, ensuring all details are captured accurately.

  • Project Coordination: Collaborate closely with project teams to align planning with overall project goals and address any scheduling challenges.

  • Client Engagement: Serve as a key contact for clients, providing regular updates on project schedules and addressing any planning concerns with professionalism.

  • Support Senior Management: Report directly to the Director of Planning, providing insights and updates on the status of projects and any planning issues.


Requirements:

  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in planning/programming within a contractor or consultancy setting.

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Primavera P6 and the ability to create detailed project programmes and Gantt charts.

  • Client-Facing Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational abilities, ensuring project timelines are met and managed efficiently.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts.
