Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage quantity surveying and cost consultancy activities, both pre- and post-contract
Develop and deliver cost estimates, cost plans, and financial reports
Oversee the tendering process, analyze bids, and provide procurement advice
Attend client meetings, monitor project status, and ensure financial control from design through completion
Manage post-contract responsibilities, including assessing variations and negotiating final accounts
Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and project success
Mentor and manage junior team members to support the effective delivery of cost management services.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree in quantity surveying or equivalent
MRICS accredited
Experience working on high-value, complex projects in a consultancy environment
Experience in mixed-use, workplace, retail, or commercial sectors is preferred
Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and CostX
