A fantastic opportunity has just come through from one of my clients which will give you the opportunity to get involved in a project from the very start where you can really influence the programme from start to finish rather than picking up from somewhere left off!
Role Overview:

Currently seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to be involved in the delivery of a major 3-year infrastructure program for a consultancy client. This is a permanent position requiring security clearance. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing complex projects within the infrastructure, government, energy or defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and management for a large-scale infrastructure program spanning
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets and resources
Coordinate and oversee the work of cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, contractors
Proactively identify and mitigate risks through contingency planning
Ensure program milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget
Manage scope changes and change requests through formal processes
Conduct regular progress reporting to client leadership and stakeholders
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes and security requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years experience managing major infrastructure projects, programs or portfolios
Background in infrastructure, government, energy or defence sectors ideal
Proven ability to lead complex, multi-year programs from initiation through closure
Expert at project management methodologies, processes and best practices
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance technical details with high-level program oversight
Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting and cost control
Security clearance required for this role
