My client, who is one of the top groundworks and concrete frame contractors in the UK, is seeking a Project Manager to lead a team of construction professionals within their London Division. With an impressive forward order book secured for the next couple of years, they are in a position to take on individuals with the expertise to successfully deliver construction projects.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction phase of a project. It is compulsory candidates can show a strong amount of groundworks, RC, enabling works and temporary works experience having worked for rival groundwork subcontractors in the UK.
Roles and responsibilities:
Project review
Design and brief development
Project estimation
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the design team
Preparing and writing method statements and risk assessments
Ensure all health and safety documentation and project method statements are adhered to by all personnel on site.
Ensure all safety and environmental requirements are met.
Ensuring all relevant permits and licenses are in place
Ensure all aspects of work is completed to the highest standard, on time and on budget.
Attending weekly progress meetings
Management of site staff
Project reporting including weekly Progress Report and weekly material cost report.
Assisting with and leading bid presentations
Providing technical input
Contractual negotiation

What the ideal candidate will have:
A degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering
Ability to show previous experience gained in working on infrastructure projects
Great verbal and written communication skills
A full UK driving license
