Role: Principal Transport Planner (Development Planning)

With an ever-growing workload and increasing pipeline of projects, our partner is looking to expand their development planning team by welcoming you, a Principal Transport Planner to the business. This role is available in both Bristol and Winchester.
The company operates in a range of sectors, including Defence, Education, Commercial, Health and Residential, making for a varied workload that will help build your portfolio.

As a Principal Transport Planner, you will help bring new developments to life, and your roles and responsibilities will include:
Maintain existing client relationships and develop new areas of business
Lead, inspire, and manage a junior team of Transport Planners.
Delegate work to available resources to ensure delivery of projects on-time and within budget.
Oversee the production of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, producing these yourself in addition when required.
Oversee site access/preliminary junction design using AutoCAD.
Oversee GIS mapping software.
Review and upskill junction modelling using Junctions (ARCADY/PICADY).
Engage in both internal and external training sessions and design meetings.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the above at a planning consultancy, or a strong background in project delivery.
