Preconstruction Manager opportunity!
My client, who is one of the top ten largest groundworks and concrete frame contractors in the UK, is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead a team of tendering and preconstruction professionals. With an impressive forward order book secured for the next couple of years, they are not showing any signs of slowing down on tendering for more contracts.
As the Preconstruction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the preconstruction phases of a project (tendering, planning and preparation). This includes managing the projected cost, determining feasibility, and developing a construction schedule.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of:
Pre-contract engagement
Project review
Design and brief development
Project estimation
Assisting with and leading bid presentations
Providing technical input
Contractual negotiation
