Our client is looking for someone with previous experience of land surveying and monitoring surveys to join their team working on a scheme in London. You will be part of a large team and report into a project manager whilst being responsible for the undertaking of several different monitoring surveys.

The Role

  • Review project documentation prior to mobilising to site, to ensure they are familiar with the scope of worksmethod statement and Risk assessment
  • Brief the Surveying team and any 3rd parties joining the team on the MS and RA highlighting known risks
  • Report H & S concerns to the Project manager
  • Design and maintain Surveying networks.
  • Configure and maintain calculations in liaison with Project Managers and Data Managers.
  • Configure and manage the surveying equipment.
  • Ensure all survey equipment is suitably calibrated and maintained in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and internal procedures.
  • Undertake manual surveys on site.
  • Manage teams of surveyors and allocate resources to project.
  • Ensure that the team works safely.
  • Assist the Project Managers with technical proposal or technical meetings.

The candidate

  • You will be able to display previous industry experience in either land surveying or monitoring projects.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Good IT skills and confident with Excel, Word etc
  • CSCS Card
