Are you an experienced CAD Technician with experience of using Civils3D? Are you looking for your next freelance opportunity? We are currently seeking someone to work with our client on an infrastructure scheme currently.
The ideal candidate will have experience in creating, managing, and optimising detailed 3D models required for highways related design in Civils3D. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our design projects, from concept through to As Built.
Duties:
Develop detailed 3D models of highway infrastructure using Civils3D.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure the models meet project specifications and standards.
Produce high-quality construction documentation from Civils3D models.
Maintain and manage Civils3D project files, ensuring they are updated and accurate.
Perform clash detection and coordination using and other BIM tools.
Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and protocols within the team.
Create and manage Civils3D Models for various Highways components, ensuring they are versatile and adaptable to different project requirements.
Conduct quality control checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Participate in design review meetings and provide technical support as needed.
The Relevant Candidate:
You will be able to display previous experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in using Autodesk Civils3D.
Experience in modelling highways & Infrastructure would be beneficial.
Knowledge of BIM processes and standards.
Demonstrated ability to create and manage Corridors, Sub-Assemblies & Parts in Civils3D.
Familiarity with other design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and InfraWorks is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
