Chesham

Medium sized civil and structural buildings design consultancy based in Chesham is seeking an experienced permanent RC detailer to join their team.

Projects are generally larger RC framed residential and commercial developments, often multi-storey.

The company is around 50 years old and has approximately 40 staff. Over the years they have developed a reputation over the years for being a highly competent civil and structural engineering consultancy with adaptability and innovative spirit.

In order to maintain a competitive advantage, the company keep abreast of the latest developments in technology and maintain an impressive range of specialist software packages. All projects are engineered with 3D BIM Revit software.

The role will be 100% RC detailing and you must have excellent communication skills and be wanting to progress your career.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • broad RC Detailing experience

  • experience in detailing large RC Frame projects and all the elements of RC Frame (foundations, beams, columns, walls, slabs)

  • knowledge in using CADS RC for RC Detailing (desirable but not essential)

  • basic knowledge in using Revit - models are created in Revit and all outlines will be exported from Revit (this experience is not essential as training can be provided)
