As the Senior Cost Manager, you will take a lead role in delivering prestigious commercial and mixed-use real estate developments, with project values ranging from millions to billions.

Key Responsibilities of the successful Senior Cost Manager:

  • Lead quantity surveying and cost consultancy tasks from pre- to post-contract stages.

  • Develop cost estimates and detailed cost plans.

  • Manage tender processes, including reviewing and analysing returns, and advising clients on procurement strategies.

  • Prepare financial reports, attend project meetings, and monitor budgets to ensure alignment from design through to completion.

  • Oversee post-contract responsibilities, including handling variations and negotiating final settlements.

  • Build and sustain strong client relationships.

  • Manage and mentor junior team members to ensure the successful delivery of cost management services.

Key Qualifications the successful Senior Cost Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in quantity surveying or related field.

  • MRICS accredited.

  • Proven experience working on high-value, complex projects within a consultancy environment.

  • Experience in mixed-use, commercial, workplace, or retail sectors is desirable.

  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD, and CostX.
