An established construction consultancy firm is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/ Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Scotland. You will have the chance to work on a range of different sectors including heritage, education, healthcare and more. From refurbs to multi-million-pound new builds, there's a lot to get stuck into at this company!

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full range of Quantity Surveying duties, from project inception through to completion, working alongside a project team.

  • Prepare cost plans, estimates, Bills of Quantities, tender documents.

  • Provide construction phase services including change management, contractor payment applications, forecasts and final accounts.

  • Preparation of commercial reports for client use.

  • Working collaboratively with other disciplines to provide an integrated approach to client delivery.

  • Develop client relationships and provide an outstanding level of service delivery on a project basis, in conjunctions with senior management.

Requirements:

  • Background in healthcare, education, heritage, residential, or commercial sectors.

  • Experience with JCT and NEC contracts.

  • Degree qualified in a construction related field.

  • Experience in both refurbishment and new-build projects.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Chartered status with a professional body in construction would be ideal.

  • Strong leadership skills.

  • Ability to work in fast paced environments.

  • Strong teamwork skills.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
