Project Manager - Water Sector - London
A leading construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing water sector team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile infrastructure projects across the water industry.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing complex water-related construction and infrastructure projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project teams and manage client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues promptly as they arise
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
Oversee compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements
Monitor and report on project progress, budgets, and performance metrics
Implement value engineering and process improvements
Requirements:
Proven experience managing water sector projects (treatment plants, distribution networks, reservoirs, etc.)
Relevant construction or engineering qualification (degree preferred)
Strong understanding of water infrastructure design, construction methods, and industry regulations
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in project management methodologies and software
Commercial awareness and budget management experience
Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
