Responsibilities of the successful Senior Project Controls Manager:
Develop and monitor the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and ensure its alignment with project goals.
Establish progress measurement methodologies and ensure accurate and timely submission of project actuals.
Use performance measurement techniques such as Earned Value Management (EVM) to assess and predict project performance.
Prepare high-quality reports and provide actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
Enhance planning, risk, cost control, and change management processes while ensuring compliance across delivery teams.
Facilitate and manage project-level change forums, escalating high-impact changes, and ensuring they are enacted.
Provide advice to resolve project delays and challenges, leveraging technical knowledge.
Requirements of the Senior Project Controls Manager:
Demonstrated proficiency in Project Controls Management or Project Management for complex infrastructure projects.
Formal qualification or certification in Project Management or Project Controls is preferred.
Expertise in Earned Value Management (EVM) and NEC Forms of Contract.
Familiarity with Quantitative Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis (QSRA/QCRA).
Effective verbal and written communication, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders.
