I am looking for a talented and motivated Geotechnical Engineer to be a vital part of a growing team. They are a forward-thinking engineering consultancy where your expertise will make a tangible impact. This is a very exciting opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects including transportation networks, urban devleopments, renewable energy installations and large scale infrastructure initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Production of drawings, calculations, reports and design documents including: Desk studies, site inspections, geological interpretation and interpretative reports
Contribute to the planning and procurement of ground investigations
Analysis of geotechnical data, preparation of ground models, design and reporting on foundations, retaining walls, soil slope stability, earthworks specification, rock slope stabilisation
Independently use design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GEO5
Knowledge of the implementation of the designers' duties as required under CDM (2015)
Coordinate with project engineers, engineering technicians and senior team involved in scheme delivery
Awareness of design guides and standards
Liaise with clients and third parties
Complete site visits and investigations to review project constraints and the construction process as required within schemes
