We're looking for an Electrical Engineer in London!

About:
A multidisciplinary firm is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. Specialising in Civil, Structural, MEP, and Façade engineering, they are dedicated to delivering high-quality design consultancy within the built environment sector. Their approach is grounded in environmental integrity, economic viability, and practical engineering solutions, fostering collaborative problem-solving and efficient resource use.

The Role:
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will support a range of projects, ensuring the timely delivery of accurate project information. You'll act as a key liaison between engineering staff and the in-house modelling team, applying industry standards to meet client needs.

Technical Ability:

  • Commitment to continuous professional development

  • Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles

  • Ability to produce accurate calculations and drawings

  • Deliver technical solutions aligned with client briefs

  • Develop cross-disciplinary awareness


Project Management:

  • Liaise with clients, architects, and design teams

  • Collaborate with internal engineering, environmental, and CAD teams

  • Ensure projects are completed within time and budget constraints

  • Provide regular updates to line managers and project managers


Client Relations:

  • Maintain effective communication with clients and architects

  • Provide feedback on client concerns and project issues

  • Foster positive relationships within the consultancy


Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of engineering experience

  • Exposure to diverse project work across public and private sectors

  • Understanding of project management tools and deliverables

  • Collaborative team player

  • Strong report-writing and analytical skills

  • Familiarity with CAD standards and 3D modelling

  • Effective IT and engineering software skills
