Responsibilities of the Chartered Building Surveyor:
Conducting detailed building surveys and condition assessments
Providing expert advice on building defects, maintenance, and refurbishment requirements
Preparing detailed specifications and costings for repair and improvement works
Project managing construction and refurbishment projects from inception to completion
Liaising closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
Supporting the preparation of planning applications and building control submissions
Delivering compelling reports and presentations to clients
Key Qualities of the Chartered Building Surveyor:
Proven experience in commercial property.
Passion for building relationships, winning business, and promoting a forward-thinking firm.
JCT contract knowledge.
Ideally RICS qualified.
Strong teamwork skills.
Commercially aware.
Strong time management skills.
