Associate Director - Quantity Surveyor - Healthcare

London - £85k to £95k plus package

My client is seeking an experienced and talented Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join their industry-leading healthcare team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role on major healthcare construction projects for their prestigious client base of hospitals, medical facilities, and pharmaceutical companies.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead quantity surveying services from design through to project completion on large-scale healthcare projects

  • Prepare cost estimates, value engineering studies, life cycle costing, and contract documentation

  • Conduct risk and value management assessments

  • Negotiate contracts and finalize accounts with contractors

  • Oversee measurement and valuation of construction works

  • Manage project QS teams to ensure adherence to program, quality, and budgetary goals

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships


Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of quantity surveying experience, with significant healthcare project exposure

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction field

  • Excellent commercial management, negotiation and client handling skills

  • Proven track record of leadership on major construction projects over £50 million

  • Professional accreditation such as RICS or CIOB membership

  • Strong communication abilities to liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders

  • High degree of motivation, with ability to work independently and as part of team
