Your Attributes:

  • Enthusiasm and a strong desire to grow and play an active part within a diverse and multicultural team environment.

  • Proven track record of technical excellence, innovation, and exceptional service delivery in estimating across infrastructure projects in one or more of the following: rail and transport, heavy civils, energy and nuclear.

  • Technical ability to challenge engineering teams and identify/cost efficient design solutions.

  • An excellent understanding of industry benchmarks / best practices and methods of measurements

  • Comprehensive understanding of the assignments as required by transport and complex infrastructure sector.

  • Major project/programmes of work experience.

  • Client-side experience will be an asset.


Your Role:

  • Further enhance our Estimating capability, drive technical excellence and service innovation

  • Lead in the development and use of Cost X, Cost OS and other established estimating software.

  • Support our Cost Intelligence initiatives and development of our cost databases and benchmarking capabilities.

  • Deliver excellent client service on our commissions through quality assurance and regular client care.

  • Develop, mentor, and support your teams on project / technical delivery.

  • Exploit opportunities for cross selling our full spectrum of services & locations.

  • Upskilling others and providing career growth opportunity.

  • Be the ambassador for AtkinsRéalis your profession and the professional institution to which you belong or aspire to.

Your Qualifications:

  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, ACostE, ICES or similar relevant professional association and NVQ Level 3 in Project Controls or working towards it.

  • Degree level in a construction related field or equivalent experience and qualifications.

  • Quantity surveying skills and comprehensive understanding of the construction industry.

  • Familiarity of government initiatives and policies.
